
Kristen Elliott completed her degree in Psychology from Colorado State University in 2007, and has extensive experience working with teens and college students. In 2011, she graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling. Kristen, the daughter of an Air Force retiree, believes in supporting and providing the best mental health care for our active duty service members, especially those suffering from combat-related PTSD. Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and is pursuing board certification in neurofeedback under the supervision of Dr. Wes Center. Kristen is actively engaged in studies in brain-based research, counseling interventions, and proactive evidenced-based practices to maintain health spiritually, physically, emotionally, and relationally.
At Focus for Living, Kristen is a psychotherapist and neurotherapist, working with children, adolescents, and adults. She is also the office manager. Kristen can be contacted by email at kmelliott@focusforliving.net.
